If you are in the food-processing industry and take the hygiene of your equipment seriously, the SW Series of IP69K Super Washdown Scales will interest you.

The scales in the SW Series are IP69K (as well as submersible IP68) compliant and withstand heavy-duty washdown with high pressure (8,000 10,000 kPa) and high-temperature (80 ±5˚C) water from up close (100 150 mm). The SW Series is also resistant to moisture invasion and condensation when exposed to highly damp environments or extreme shifts in temperature.

To prevent corrosion, the weighing pan, platform, display pole, and bracket are all made of SUS304 stainless steel, and the load cell is made of SUS630 stainless steel. The stripped-down design of the scales makes it easy to clean away food-processing residues.

The display unit features multi-colored LED with 5-level comparator lamps. The weighing results are clearly visible from a wide angle, and the multi-colored comparator lamps help you judge the results of check weighing intuitively and quickly. In addition, the SW Series adopts touch-sensitive capacitive keys covered with solid plastic. This prevents surface rupture caused by pressing with sharp objects and thereby ensures permanent waterproofing.

Eight models are currently offered in the SW Series with capacities from 6 kg to 150 kg, and readability ranging from 0.5 g to 10 g. You can also purchase the display unit (SW-D) and weighing platforms separately, or even use the display unit with platforms (load cells) from other companies. A desktop/wall-mount stand, rechargeable battery, RS-232C + comparator relay output, and RS-422/485 are available as options.
